Argentina: New Law on Corporate Criminal Liability Approved

Effective March 2, 2018, Argentina's new corporate criminal liability law subjects legal entities to sanctions in connection with corrupt activities, including national and transnational bribery and influence peddling; improper and unlawful transactions of public officials; illegal exaction committed by a public official; illicit enrichment of public officials and employees; and forgery of balance sheets and reports to conceal a corruption offense.
