Alliant 2 and Other Billion-Dollar Contracts Worth Watching This Fall

GSA has asked bidders on its Alliant 2 governmentwide acquisition contract for IT services to extend their offers through December 31, providing some insight into when award decisions could be announced. “GSA still intends to make awards based on initial proposals without discussions, it is appropriate to take this precautionary measure should unforeseen delays arise as we enter the new fiscal year,” explained John Cavadias, the GSA GWAC contracting officer.
