Lawsuit Seeks Agency Details on AI’s Role in Trump’s Deregulation Push

FedScoop – A nonprofit legal group is suing a handful of federal agencies, calling on the federal bodies to release documents related to the use of artificial intelligence to carry out the Trump administration’s “deregulation agenda.” The lawsuit, filed by Democracy Forward, asks a court to require the General Services Administration, Office of Personnel Management, Office of Management and Budget, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to comply with public records laws amid concerns over how AI is being used to “weaken” existing federal regulations.
