BIOSECURE Act Reintroduced in Congress with Changes

Ropes & Gray – The proposed BIOSECURE Act, which was first introduced in the Senate in December 2023, is bipartisan legislation designed to prohibit biopharmaceutical companies and other businesses that contract with the federal government from using equipment or services that are provided by companies owned or controlled by a foreign adversary’s government.
