Zambian Embezzled Funds From Federally Funded Grantee

USAID Office of the Inspector General reports that an investigation found that a Zambian employee of a grantee stole more than $193,000 from activities funded by USAID, CDC, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. National Institute of Health. According to the report, the individual agreed to a repayment plan with the grantee, while the grantee repaid the funds to the respective federal programs.
