Proposed Federal Contractor Rule Will Impose Pay Equity and Transparency

McDermott Will & Emory – There are proposed amendments to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) that will change employment practices for federal contractors in two ways. First, these amendments will prohibit federal contractors from seeking and considering information about job applicants’ compensation history when making employment decisions. Second, these amendments will require federal contractors to disclose the compensation in job postings for applicable positions.
