Covington & Burling – The FAR Council has proposed a new “Pay Equity and Transparency in Federal Contracting” rule for government contractors, intended to increase race and gender equity by limiting contractors' ability to ask about job applicants’ pay history, and requiring them to disclose pay rates in certain job announcements.
