Fifth Circuit Rules on Fifth Amendment Applicability to FCPA Case

In a rare question about of the Fifth Amendment's protection against self-incrimination in a foreign corruption case, the Fifth Circuit has ruled that it does not apply to a particular defendant who did not receive a “Miranda warning” when he was interviewed outside the U.S.
