Eversheds Sutherland – On October 18, 2022, the US Small Business Administration proposed a wide range of regulatory changes to the rules governing the small business investment company (SBIC) program. The Proposal impacts existing SBICs and the SBIC license application process, including the creation of a new type of debenture program for equity-focused funds (Accrual SBICs).
