Industry Group Encourages Measures for Greater Utilization of FedRAMP

The Alliance for Digital Innovation has written to OMB director Shalanda Young and General Services Administration leader Robin Carnahan proposing that the FedRAMP Authorization Act—which now codifies the decade-old program—serve as a starting point “to develop a policy that allows FedRAMP to grow and change with the needs of government at the speed of technological innovation.” For example, they want incentives for agencies to sponsor FedRAMP authorization for cloud service providers, to streamline the process.
