Maryland Governor’s Office Settles with Federal Government over AmeriCorps Funds

The Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism, part of the Maryland State Service Commission, has agreed to pay the federal government almost $640,000 to resolve a civil False Claims Act investigation into the operation of its AmeriCorps program.
