DoD’s “Hack US” Bug Bounty Program Results Announced

Ethical hackers identified hundreds of vulnerabilities in government networks during the Department of Defense's one-week Hack US bug bounty challenge in July. Run by the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office's Directorate for Digital Services and the DoD's Cyber Crime Center, the challenge offered a pool of $110,000 in rewards for the disclosures. A total of 267 hackers participated, 139 of them new to the DoD's vulnerability disclosure program.
