Banks Object to Additional Scrutiny in NDAA Amendment

Financial sector trade associations have warned key senators that directing CISA to collect information about their supply chain risk management practices could expose them to risk, if that information is “inappropriately disclosed or stolen in a breach.” The American Bankers Association and the Bank Policy Institute wrote to the chairs and ranking members of the Senate Armed Services Committee and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, in reference to a provision proposed for inclusion in next year's NDAA.
