Defense Contractors Increasingly Vulnerable to Ransomware

Centralizing Supply Chain Cybersecurity: U.S. Federal Government Risk in 2022 is a new report from Black Kite that warns that cyber risks for the top 100 defense contractors are rising. The survey indicates that 32% of U.S. defense contractors are vulnerable to phishing, 72% report at least one leaked credential in the last 90 days (a number that has grown by 71% from six months earlier), and 17% utilize out of date systems which make them more vulnerable to ransomware attacks.
