Report: Cyber Compliance Still Struggling

Matt Kelly comments on a new report about cybersecurity risk management, noting on one hand that executives apparently understand the problems around cybersecurity compliance, including “too many audits, would-be customers wandering off when you can’t document compliance quickly, and a need to anticipate ransomware attacks (through strategies such as zero-trust architecture).” On the other hand, he observes that many organizations are still very early in responding to these problems, because compliance teams are often required by circumstances and resources to respond tactically to issues individually, rather than strategically.
