Education Advocates Call to Expand FCC’s E-Rate to Include Cybersecurity

During a hearing of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, lawmakers were told that an important step to improve cybersecurity in the education sector would be to expand E-Rate—the FCC program that gives school districts discounts on network devices—to cover purchases of cybersecurity products.
