CISA’s 2022 Priorities

One year after the Biden administration announced the Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity, Eric Goldstein—CISA’s Executive Assistant Director for Cybersecurity—outlined the agency’s priorities for 2022 and beyond, in a webinar hosted by Billington CyberSecurity. Goldstein identified several steps for security leaders to take to ensure the safety of their organizations’ information systems, including:

  • Maintaining necessary information and resources to manage cyber risk
  • Building public-private security partnerships
  • Developing a proactive cybersecurity strategy
  • Implementing security by design
