Cyber insurance policies are likely to be affected by a recent court case involving the NotPetya malware. The Superior Court of New Jersey ruled in favor of pharmaceutical company Merck, whose insurance carrier Ace American had denied a claim for damages from the NotPetya attack in 2017.
