Doctors to Pay $3.9 million to Settle Allegations of Billing for Unnecessary Drug Testing
Physicians Robert Wills and Brannon Frank – owners of the now-defunct Austin Pain Associates – have agreed to pay $3.9 million to resolve allegations that they billed Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE for excessive and unnecessary drug testing, ordered without individual assessment of clinical need.
