Hawaiian AmeriCorps Administrator Guilty of Embezzlement, CARES Grant Bribery

Stacy Higa, former director of the state commission responsible for administering AmeriCorps programs in Hawaii, has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $38,000 from the agency, and to bribing an official for grants under the CARES Act.
