Williams Mullen – The Federal Government has now issued Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) deviation clauses implementing the President’s September 9, 2021 Executive Order 14042 “Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors” (published in the Federal Register on September 14, 2021, 86 FR 50985), which resulted in the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force issuing “COVID-19 Workplace Safety: Guidance for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors” (Guidance) on September 24, 2021.
