WPP Settles with SEC Over Allegations in Several Countries

The world’s largest advertising group, WPP plc, has agreed to pay the SEC $8 million in penalties and $11.2 million in disgorgement to resolve FCPA anti-bribery, books and records, and internal accounting controls offenses in India, China, Brazil, Peru, and elsewhere.
