DFARS Proposed Rule – Contract Closeout Authority for DoD Services Contracts

The Department of Defense had proposed a rule to amend the DFARD to authorize contracting officers to close out certain physically complete contracts or groups of contracts through modification of such contracts, without completing the requirements of Federal Acquisition Regulations based upon the age of the contract action.
