Cyber Executive Order a “Missed Opportunity”

In a commentary for Nextgov, Robert DuPree of Telos describes the Biden administration's executive order on cybersecurity as “a missed opportunity to address long-standing critical infrastructure vulnerabilities.” While the order has many good points, DuPree notes that, despite the timing of its release in the wake of the Colonial Pipeline hack, the EO focuses on federal cybersecurity, not private industry, and doesn't directly mention critical infrastructure.
