Colonial Pipeline Attack Should be a Wake-Up Call

Reporters at the Wall Street Journal warn that the ransomware attack on Colonial Pipeline shows the threat that cybercriminals pose to the nation's “aging, vulnerable infrastructure.” Although the attack apparently didn't reach the company's Operational Technology systems, those are commonly older hardware and software with few protections against sophisticated attacks.
