First CMMC Certification Organizations Identified, But Not Yet Certified
The CMMC Accreditation Body has begun selecting the first organizations that will be charged with assessing defense contractors' cyber readiness, but these CMMC Third Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAOs) must first achieve CMMC Level 3 certification themselves, and be recognized by the CMMC-AB and DoD.
