Huawei and Other Chinese Telecom Companies Still Listed as Security Threats to U.S.

Despite an overture by Huawei's Ren Zhengfei for a fresh start with the Biden Administration, the FCC and DHS have again included the company – as well as its fellow Chinese firms ZTE, Hytera Communications, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology, and Dahua Technology – on a list of companies whose equipment and services pose a threat to national security.
