DHS to Increase Grant Money Spent on Cybersecurity by State and Local Governments

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has said that state and local governments receiving grants from FEMA will be required to spend at least 7.5 percent of that money on cybersecurity – up from 5 percent – which will add up to about $25 million more spent in this area.
