Alan Chvotkin Joins Pub K as President!

Pub K is pleased to announce that Alan Chvotkin has joined our organization as its new President. Alan is a leading expert on federal government contracting law and policy.

He previously served as the Executive Vice President and Counsel for the Professional Services Council, the principal national trade association of the government technology and professional services industry. Alan is also a fellow of the National Contract Management Association and serves on its national board of advisors.  He is a founding member and continuing leader of the federal contracting industry’s Acquisition Reform Working Group, and co-chairs the operating committee of the Council of Defense and Space Industries Association.

As Pub K President, Alan will guide the content of Pub K’s daily newsletters—PubKLaw, PubKCyber, and PubKCompliance—based on his experience, expertise, and insights. He will also continue engaging his close relationships with contractors and government to further constructive dialogue within the government contracts community.

Alan will host and serve as moderator for Pub K’s Government Contracts Annual Review, a live webcast on January 24-28, 2021, which includes presentations from 60+ leading experts. The Review is free to the public.

Separately from his role at Pub K, has also joined the law firm Nichols Liu LLP as a partner in their Government Relations practice.
