Federal Contractor Agrees to Pay $18.98 Million for Alleged False Claims Caused by Overcharges and Unqualified Labor

Cognosante LLC of Virginia, which provides health care and IT services and solutions to federal agencies, has agreed to pay almost $19 million to resolve allegations that it used unqualified labor and overcharged for services under two GSA Multiple Award Schedule contracts.
