OFCCP’s New MOU with the EEOC Could Dramatically Change OFCCP’s Enforcement Program

Under a revised Memorandum of Understanding among the Department of Labor's  Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, OFCCP will now become an “agent” of the EEOC to investigate Title VII claims, and for the first time will be authorized to apply both Title VII liabilities and remedies to claims arising pursuant to Title VII.
