Massachusetts-based DUSA Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, has agreed to pay $20.75 million to resolve allegations that it knowingly promoted a process for administering its drug Levulan Kerastick that contradicted the product instructions approved by the FDA, and was unsupported by sufficient clinical evidence.
