More Flexible Policies Announced under the ITAR due to COVID-19

On May 1, 2020, the Department of State’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls published a Federal Register notice that updated DDTC’s April 23 web notice, providing certain types of flexibility in licensing, registration, disclosures and other matters under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations in light of the COVID-19 epidemic.
