Government Scrutiny of Relationships with China Continues with Department of Education Investigations

Two new investigations by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE), one against Harvard University and another against Yale University, demonstrate that federal agencies are extending their clampdown on unreported foreign influence at American universities. Recently, we wrote about criminal charges brought against professors from Harvard University and the University of Kansas for allegedly misleading federal grant administrators about their participation in Chinese talent programs.
