Court Finds No Reason to Delay Payment of Attorney Fees to Successful Defendants; U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington No. 2:17-CV-0191-TOR, U.S. ex rel. Randolph Peterson and Tri-City Railroad Company LLC v. Port of Benton County

The district court declined the plaintiffs’ request to defer the payment of attorney fees to the defendants as a result of their successful defense of a qui tam case, finding the qui tam claims were severable from any outstanding issues between the parties and that the defendants’ request was reasonable and supported.
