“We Should be Setting the Example” for Private Sector Cybersecurity, U.S. CISO Says

Grant Schneider, the Chief Information Security Officer for the federal government, said at the recently Billington CyberSecurity Summit that the government “should be setting the example for how organizations should look at cybersecurity.” His argument comes mainly from the federal government’s efforts to set cybersecurity policies and requirements, and develop tools that bring agencies together in a unified posture against threats.
