Deutsche Bank Fined Over $16 Million for Violating US Corruption Laws

Deutsche Bank has agreed to pay more than $16 million to settle charges that it violated the FCPA by hiring poorly qualified or unqualified relatives of executives at state-owned enterprises in China and Russia, with the “primary goal” of generating business for the bank, such as initial public offerings.
