What Ever Happened to CyberStat?
Under the Federal Information Security Management Act, OMB is responsible for overseeing agency compliance on a range of cybersecurity requirements, and one of its main tools for that was a series of intensive, data-driven review meetings dubbed "CyberStat." The GAO reports that the number of such reviews has dropped from 24 in 2016 to none so far in 2019.
