House Oversight Votes to Secure Connected Devices in Government

The House Oversight Committee has approved the Internet of Things Cybersecurity Improvement Act, a bill sponsored by Will Hurd (R-TX) and Robin Kelly (D-IL) that would create a basic set of security standards for web-connected devices in the government’s IT ecosystem.
