Former Chile Mining Executive Settles FCPA Offenses
Patricio Contesse González, the former CEO of Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile, has agreed to pay $125,000 to resolve civil charges that he violated the FCPA by causing the company to make nearly $15 million in improper payments to Chilean political figures and others connected to them.
