DFARS Rules Address Micro-purchase Threshold, Contract Closeouts

The Department of Defense published 1 proposed rule and 8 final rules to amend the DFARS in relation to emergency procurement authorities, the micro-purchase threshold, trafficking in persons, and contract closeouts. The proposed rule would amend the DFARS to to permit expedited closeout of certain contracts entered into on a date that is at least 17 fiscal years before the current fiscal year.
