U.S. Consumers Lost $19.4 Billion to Cybercriminals in 2017

Although consumers generally feel safe conducting business online, a report by Symantec indicates that nearly a billion consumers in 20 countries collectively lost $172 billion to theft last year, nearly $20 billion of that from more than half of the U.S.
