DHS Amplifies Call for Public-Private Partnership in Cyberdefense and Pledges to “Intervene Directly”

Following a statement officially blaming North Korea for the WannaCry attack back in May, the Department of Homeland Security called for a new emphasis on public-private partnerships in cyberdefense.
