SEC Will Launch New Database Despite Cyber Concerns

Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Jay Clayton announced that the commission will continue with its plans to launch an updated data-collection program, even though lawmakers and industry have asked SEC to delay the program until it can ensure adequate cybersecurity protections have been adopted.
