Former Department of Homeland Security officials say the selection of DHS Secretary John Kelly to be the next White House chief of staff could seriously impair the department's cybersecurity mission. “DHS needs to be leading a full scale and comprehensive effort to protect our critical infrastructure as well as our election related and voter registration systems,” remarked John Cohen, a former acting undersecretary at DHS.
