GAO Makes 100 Recommendations to Improve IRS Information Security Program

The Internal Revenue Service has strengthened the security controls protecting its key financial and tax processing systems, but continuing and newly-identified deficiencies have limited their effectiveness, according to a new report from the Government Accountability Office.
