DHS Conducting Internal Cyber Assessment Ahead of Legislative Reorg

House Homeland Security Committee chairman Mike McCaul (R-TX) says the Department of Homeland Security is conducting an internal review of its cybersecurity capabilities in advance of proposed legislation that would overhaul the department’s cyber responsibilities and create a new stand-alone agency within DHS responsible for cyber.
