UK Government Calls on Organizations to Submit GDPR Derogations

The UK Department for Culture, Media, and Sport has asked organizations to submit their views on derogations to the General Data Protection Regulation, which would enable companies that must report a security breach to ask for leniency from the Information Commissioner’s Office, either because of the nature of the activity or because they can demonstrate they have acted responsibly.
