75% of Organizations Say Phishing Poses the Greatest AI Threat
A recent issue of Security Magazine reported the results of a survey conducted by Team8 on Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) concerns over artificial intelligence. The report states that 75% of the organizations that responded prioritized phishing as the greatest AI threat. In line with these concerns, 70% of CISOs’ budgets increased in 2024 compared to 2023. The survey also indicates that 58% of the CISOs believe “lack of expertise” and “balancing security with usability” are the two primary challenges their organizations face in defending AI systems.
